Where to study late at night in Cebu City during board exam review
Cafés close, dorms get loud. Here's what makes a good study spot for review season, and how Nest works for students.

Reviewing for boards, finishing a thesis or cramming for finals takes long, focused hours. A café gets you two drinks' worth of table before you feel you should leave. A dorm or a shared house has noise you can't switch off. That's why more students in Cebu City are studying in coworking spaces and study hubs.
What to look for in a study spot
- Long hours. Your best focus might be at 10 PM. Look for a place that's open late, or all night.
- A flat rate, not an hourly one. Hourly billing makes you watch the clock instead of your notes.
- Reliable internet. For online lectures, research and video calls with your study group.
- Free coffee and water. They add up over a long day.
- Somewhere to eat. Being able to bring your own baon saves money.
- A room for group study. So your group can talk through problems without disturbing anyone.
- Safe and easy to reach, with parking if you drive.
How Nest works for students
Nest is at B1, Horizons 101 on Gen. Maxilom Ave, Cebu City. Our study hub page has all the details, but here's the short version:
- Day Pass, ₱400, from 7 AM to 1 AM. That's 18 hours at one flat rate.
- Owl Pass, ₱550, for 24 hours when you need to go through the night.
- Students get 10% off passes.
- Unlimited coffee, tea and water, and 300 Mbps internet.
- Bring your own food with no corkage. There's a microwave in the pantry.
- Free parking for guests.
If you'll be in most days during review season, a Flexi Pass or a monthly membership costs less per day than separate Day Passes, and a membership gets you 24-hour access with your own keycard.
Studying as a group
For group study, book a meeting room so you can talk freely. The small room fits up to 6 people for ₱400 an hour and has a whiteboard and a smart TV you can plug a laptop into. The large room fits 12 for ₱900 an hour. Read which meeting room fits your meeting for the details.
Plan your study day
We wrote a separate guide to planning a 7 AM to 1 AM study day, with how to split the hours and when to take breaks. When you're ready, walk in with your student ID, or use Find your space to see which pass fits your review schedule.
