Nest Workspace Opens

Cebu City, Philippines – September 19, 2023 – Nest Workspaces, a community-driven coworking space, celebrated the grand opening of its newest branch on September 19, 2023, at the Horizons 101 Cebu condominium complex in Cebu City. The new location is part of an innovative "integrated productivity hub," sharing the space with a StorageTown facility and the Subtero Underground gym, offering a unique blend of work, storage, and wellness options.

The launch event commenced with a ribbon-cutting ceremony graced by Cebu City Mayor Michael "Mike" Rama and Nest Workspaces Founder and President, entrepreneur and social media influencer Chase Cokaliong. Following a Catholic blessing, attendees explored the new facility, touring private offices and meeting areas while enjoying refreshments.

Bea Gomez, Nest Workspaces' community manager, emphasized the core values of the space: "Nest Workspaces is a very heavily community-driven co-working space that caters to young professionals, to creatives, to entrepreneurs and basically all walks of life, people who want to elevate their work."

The Horizons 101 branch is designed as a comprehensive workspace solution, offering a range of amenities to support its members. From meeting rooms ideal for business discussions to open breakout areas encouraging networking, and even an infinity wall studio for product photography, the space is equipped to bring ideas to life through collaboration and innovation.

Gomez highlighted the importance of community at Nest: "We really, really encourage people to collaborate. We really want people to network. We want people to talk to each other. We want to foster a community here in Nest Workspaces because we really believe that community and collaboration really elevate a person’s work."

Looking ahead, the new branch plans to host various events and networking opportunities, including game nights, to further cultivate its community-focused environment.

Gomez also shared her experience in preparing for the launch, including implementing eco-friendly practices like encouraging members to bring their own reusable beverage containers and managing the business's booking system. For her, working in the coworking space industry is a dream come true, especially being part of a team that values collaboration as much as she does.

"To be part of a team that is making a co-working space like this, that has the same values I wanted, is like basically giving me the dream come true," Gomez concluded, underscoring the collaborative spirit that drives Nest Workspaces.
